Great inventions often come from everyday problems, like the one our client Wake Forest Baptist Health was having. Their employees could no longer poke their service award lapel pins through their badges: it ruined the integrity of the badges, which were needed for access to secure areas of the hospital. Here at Award Concepts, we put our heads together and came up with the Badge ACcent, a clip-on service award pin that won’t ruin badges…or snag clothes! We soon found that many industries requiring employees to wear badges loved the Badge ACcent too.

Thanks to the TimeHop app on my iPhone, I was just reminded that two years ago today we filmed our video about the Badge ACcent…and my grandmother made her debut as an actress at the age of 88. Note: I’m in the “behind the scenes” production, but I didn’t make the final cut to be featured in the video. That’s show biz.
